Multi-Carrier BGP and Peering Redesign

The challenge

A network with transit, internet-exchange route servers and direct peers needed consistent policy, better route security and predictable traffic preference.

The approach

A structured policy model covering local preference, prefix controls, RPKI handling, communities, direct-peer preference, route-server fallback and transit paths.

The outcome

The result was clearer operational control, safer announcements, more predictable path selection and a design that could be supported by the internal team.
